$5 Million Settlement in the Wrongful Death of UPS Truck Driver

Corboy & Demetrio obtained a settlement of $5 million on behalf of the Estate of a 40-year-old UPS truck driver who was killed in 1999 at the Dolton piggyback yard of the Union Pacific Railroad.  Another truck driver, an employee of Pacella Trucking Express, who was backing into a spot nearby, struck an adjacent trailer that pinned the deceased against his own UPS trailer.  He died of asphyxiation.
