$6.6 Million Record-Setting Verdict in Nebraska Crash
In the largest jury verdict of its kind in Federal District Court in Omaha, Nebraska, a jury returned a verdict for $6.6 million for a family, who were traveling in a mobile home and were rear-ended by a stolen semi-tractor trailer truck. The mobile home collided with an illegally parked semi-tractor trailer, killing the mother and injuring the father. The couple's four children, in the rear of the mobile home, were uninjured.
