$2.9 Million Settlement for 79-year-old Pedestrian Hit by Car
Corboy & Demetrio obtained a $2.9 million settlement for a 79-year-old Illinois woman who was walking in the crosswalk of intersection in a northern Chicago suburb in 2017, in broad daylight, when she was struck and injured by the driver of a car. The woman suffered an open left distal tibia/fibula fracture requiring external fixation and an eventual below the knee amputation.
