$7.5 Million Settlement against CTA in Injury of Pedestrian
Corboy & Demetrio obtained a settlement of $7.5 million against the CTA in the injury of a nationally recognized musician who was former Lead Oboist for the Chicago Lyric Opera. The plaintiff was crossing Clark Street at Grand Ave. and was thrown 20 feet into the air when a CTA bus struck her. Her injuries were career ending.
