$2.5 Million Settlement for Patient who Died After Surgery

The family of a 40-year-old woman who went into the hospital for a one-day surgery, to remove a cyst from an ovary, has settled a wrongful death claim filed in the Circuit Court of Cook County on behalf of her estate for $2,500,000.
