$8.5 Million Settlement for Pedestrian Struck by Delivery Truck
Michael K. Demetrio and William T. Gibbs of Corboy & Demetrio have obtained an $8.5 million settlement on behalf of an Illinois woman who was struck by a delivery truck in 2014. The plaintiff was crossing the street within the crosswalk, when the defendant truck took a right-hand turn and struck her. Plaintiff sustained serious orthopedic injuries, including pelvis fractures and a fractured femur.
