$5 Million for Pedestrian Waiting at Bus Stop Injured Due to Ice from City Water Main Break
Corboy & Demetrio obtained $5 million in a settlement against the City of Chicago on behalf of a college student who was injured by a car that slid on ice from a broken water main. The victim was standing at a bus stop when a car hit a patch of black ice and slid into him, pinning him and resulting in an above-the-knee amputation.
