National Law Journal Names Thomas Demetrio to Elite “Top 50 Litigation Trailblazers of 2014”

Thomas Demetrio, co-founder of the Chicago law firm Corboy & Demetrio, has been named to “Top 50 Litigation Trailblazers of 2014,” a national ranking of truly elite litigators by the National Law Journal. Three other Chicago legal giants are also included.  They are: Fred Bartlit of Bartlit, Beck; Tony Valukas of Jenner & Block; and Dan Webb of Winston & Strawn.

The Law Journal writes that the legal trails Tom Demetrio has blazed include his first big case, litigation resulting from American Airlines Flight 191, which crashed onto O’Hare Field in 1979, and the fact that he has represented the families of victims in nearly every major plane crash since.
