Corboy & Demetrio and Judge Wright Co-Host Summer Intern-Clerk Lunch-n-Learn

For the second consecutive year, Corboy & Demetrio and Cook Co. Circuit Court Judge E. Kenneth Wright, Jr., Presiding Judge of the First Municipal District, co-hosted a luncheon for Judge Wright’s interns and C&D’s law clerks to educate them by hearing directly from a judge, justice and two of the city’s top trial lawyers.

The luncheon, which took place at Corboy & Demetrio’s offices on June 28, 2016, included speakers:  C&D Partners Thomas A. Demetrio and Michael K. Demetrio; Illinois Appellate Court Justice Mary Kay Rochford; and Judge Wright.

Judge Wright and Justice Rochford spoke about the importance of maintaining a positive reputation.  Thomas Demetrio spoke about professionalism and recommended ways to stand out as an aspiring lawyer.  Michael Demetrio facilitated the luncheon and spoke at length about the importance of networking with your peers and cultivating relationships.

Judge Wright’s law clerks in attendance were: Bryan Boccelli, Raana Hajdari, Emily Johns and Reginald Lis. C&D’s law clerks in attendance were: Quinn Ford, Patrick Grimm, Kim Herring and Erika Rodger.
