Corboy & Demetrio Client Produces Safety Video for Chicago City Workers as Part of Settlement

Corboy & Demetrio filed a civil lawsuit against the City and one of its workers who was intoxicated on the job and lost control of his city truck at a busy Gold Coast intersection, injuring a toddler and her babysitter. Corboy & Demetrio represented both the toddler and babysitter, whose case settled for $7.4 million earlier this year.
In addition, the toddler’s father worked with the City of Chicago to produce a safety video, for all city employees who drive on the job, regarding the danger of drinking and driving.
