Corboy & Demetrio Appointed to Executive Committee in NHL Concussion Litigation

The U.S. District Court Judge overseeing individual lawsuits against the National Hockey League has appointed Corboy & Demetrio to the Plaintiff’s Executive Committee, a leadership role in the multi district litigation.

Corboy & Demetrio Co-founder Thomas A. Demetrio and attorney William T. Gibbs represent the Estate of Derek Boogaard in an individual lawsuit against the NHL alleging NHL doctors overprescribed the hockey enforcer, which resulted in his prescription drug overdose and death.  

U.S. District Court Judge Susan Richard Nelson in Minnesota entered the Order on Sept. 18, 2014.  She is overseeing the MDL.
