Chicago Tribune
04.2008
On April 29, 2008, the Chicago Tribune published an editorial essentially stating that Workmen’s Compensation adequately protected construction workers that are injured or killed on a work site and that Illinois’ pending Construction Safety Act was unnecessary. Philip H. Corboy, Jr., disagreed with the editorial and wrote a letter in favor of the legislation, which was published in the Chicago Tribune.
