$1.1 Million Settlement for Family of University of Illinois Student Kills by Bus
A 22 year-old graduate student in biochemistry at the University of Illinois, Champaign, was struck and killed by a Champaign-Urbana Mass Transit District bus as she walked across an intersection on the campus. The young woman’s family, represented by Managing Partner Robert J. Bingle, agreed to a settlement of $1.1 million in their lawsuit against the bus company.
