Corboy & Demetrio Named to 2014 ‘Best Law Firms’ by U.S. News & Best Lawyers
Corboy & Demetrio has been selected for 2014 Best Law Firms by U.S. News & World Report and Best Lawyers, for the fourth consecutive year in two practice areas.
Corboy & Demetrio was ranked as a Tier One law firm in Chicago in the practice areas of personal injury and medical malpractice, the highest ranking a plaintiff’s law firm can attain in both practice areas. It’s the fourth year in a row, since the award’s inception, that Corboy & Demetrio has received the honor.
The firm, which also represents plaintiffs in commercial litigation, also received a national Tier One ranking, the highest honor a firm can receive in that category.
In addition, Corboy & Demetrio partner David R. Barry was named 2014 Lawyer of the Year in the area of Medical Malpractice – Plaintiffs in Chicago. He’s the second firm partner to be honored with the designation.
In 2011, Thomas A. Demetrio, a co-founder of Corboy & Demetrio, was named Lawyer of the Year in the area of Medical Malpractice- Plaintiffs in Chicago. Additionally, in 2014, Tom Demetrio was named to Best Lawyers in America for the 27th consecutive year, since the award’s inception.
In 2014, four other Corboy & Demetrio partners were named to Best Lawyers in America, including Mr. Barry, Michael K. Demetrio, Philip H. Corboy, Jr. and Rene Torrado.
