C&D Lawyer Major (Ret.) Kenneth T. Lumb Continues to Serve Military Families
C&D lawyer Major (Ret.) Kenneth T. Lumb, who served four years on active duty in the Army’s JAG Corps as a Medical Claims Judge Advocate and 20 years in the Reserves, is continuing to serve the military community as a civilian. Lumb was recently elected Vice-chair of the Federal Tort and Military Advocacy Section of the American Association for Justice. The section works to educate lawyers who represent veterans, military retirees, service members, their families and other persons harmed by wrongful acts of the federal government. Lumb was also appointed Vice-chair and CLE Coordinator of the Illinois State Bar Association’s Standing Committee on Military Affairs. The committee works to educate lawyers regarding the unique legal challenges faced by military service members, veterans and their families and to recruit and train lawyers to provide free or low cost legal services to that population.
