Record-Setting $22 Million Verdict for Woman Injured in Car-Truck Collision

Corboy & Demetrio obtained a $22 million verdict on behalf of a young woman was rendered a quadriplegic when the car she was driving was hit from behind by a semi-trailer truck in north suburban Chicago on Thanksgiving Day. Thomas Demetrio, along with his brother, Michael Demetrio,  tried the case to a $22 million verdict. It is the largest compensatory verdict for an individual ever upheld by the Illinois Supreme Court.
