Daniel S. Kirschner, a trial attorney at Corboy & Demetrio, will be a featured speaker at the Young Executives Club’s presentation “How Senior Leaders Adjust to Economic Change and the Impact of Their Decision On You,” on Monday, December 7, 2009 at the Metropolitan Club at Willis Tower in Chicago, Illinois. During the program, Kirschner will discuss how the changing economic landscape has affected both the practice and perception of the law.

An experienced and accomplished trial lawyer, Kirschner represents plaintiffs in catastrophic personal injury and wrongful death litigation. His practice is concentrated in matters involving aviation disasters, trucking and highway collisions, railroad crossings and derailments, construction negligence, premises liability, product liability, and medical malpractice.

He is a past Co-Chair of the Young Lawyers Committee of the Illinois Trial Lawyers Association and served as an investigator for the Chicago Bar Association’s Judicial Evaluation Committee. He has organized, moderated, and lectured at numerous continuing legal education seminars for practicing attorneys and is regularly called upon to judge moot court and trial advocacy competitions. In 1999, the Illinois Supreme Court appointed him to a three-year term as a Commissioner on the Character and Fitness Committee of the Illinois Board of Admissions to the Bar and in  2002, the Court appointed him to serve on the Illinois Supreme Court Rules Committee.

In 2003, Kirschner was named by the Law Bulletin Publishing Company, which publishes the Chicago Daily Law Bulletin and Chicago Lawyer magazine, to its list of the "40 Under 40 Attorneys to Watch in Illinois." At age 31, he was the youngest of the 40 recipients. That same year, he received the Young Alumnus Award from the Chicago-Kent Law School Association and he currently serves as a member of the Chicago-Kent Alumni Board of Directors.
