Eleven Corboy & Demetrio Attorneys selected to 2025 Illinois Super Lawyers and Rising Stars

We are proud to announce that eight Corboy & Demetrio partners were selected to Illinois Super Lawyers for 2025.

Corboy & Demetrio Co-founder Thomas A. Demetrio was ranked the #2 attorney in Illinois by Super Lawyers for 2025 out of more than 95,000 attorneys in the state. Tom has ranked first or second, overall, by IL Super Lawyers for the last 11 years.

Partner Philip Corboy, Jr. was named to the 2025 Super Lawyers “Top 100” for a 13th year.  Partner Michelle Kohut was named to “Top 50 Women Lawyers” by Super Lawyers for a second year in a row, out of female attorneys in every practice area.

Our other 2025 Super Lawyers include Partners Francis Patrick Murphy, Daniel S. Kirschner, Edward G. Willer, Kenneth T. Lumb, and William T. Gibbs.

Partner Bill Gibbs is celebrating his 10th year of being selected to Super Lawyers in 2025.

Our Super Lawyer Rising Stars for 2025 include Mitchell Bild and Tommy Demetrio. Each year, no more than 2.5 percent of the lawyers in the state are selected by the research team at Super Lawyers to receive this honor.
