Conrad C. Nowak and Chad D. Kasdin named Partners at Corboy & Demetrio

Corboy & Demetrio is proud to announce that attorneys Conrad C. Nowak and Chad D. Kasdin have been named Partners at its Chicago law firm. Both attorneys were partners at a national law firm before joining Corboy & Demetrio and both have extensive litigation experience.

Conrad joined Corboy & Demetrio in 2023, bringing with him more than 18 years of experience in the areas of personal injury, product liability, toxic tort, construction, aviation, and commercial litigation.

A U.S. Army Veteran, Conrad obtained his J.D. from Loyola University Chicago School of Law in 2002.  He graduated from DePaul University in 1998.  In college, Conrad was a starter on the Division I Men's Varsity Tennis Team and competed on the ATP Professional Tour.

Conrad is a renowned advocate regarding veteran legal professionals and mental health, suicide awareness, and suicide prevention. He is a recipient of the Illinois Lawyers’ Assistance Program’s Carl H. Rolewick Award.

He currently serves as the Co-Chair of the Warsaw Committee of Chicago Sister Cities International. He is a past Chairman of the Board of the Polish American Association, a past Chairman of the Board of Field Ready, and a former Board Member of RedR U.S. 

Conrad is married, the father of two boys, and lives in Chicago.

Chad Kasdin joined Corboy & Demetrio earlier this year, bringing with him nearly 24 years of experience in the areas of professional liability, including medical malpractice, business and commercial litigation, and premises liability.

Chad obtained his J.D. from Washington University in St. Louis in 2000.  He obtained a Bachelor of Arts in English and American Studies from Skidmore College in 1997 and played all four years on the Varsity Basketball team, serving as Captain from 1996-1997. Chad was selected to the NCAA Academic All-America basketball team and Academic All-Conference basketball team.

In community work, Chad serves on the Board of Directors of the Park District of Highland Park Athletic Booster Club, and serves as a Youth Athletics coach for SBC, Wow Factor, Chicago Baseball and Educational Academy and Park District of Highland Park.

Chad is married to Crystal Kasdin, a Cook County Assistant State’s Attorney. They have 2 boys and live in Highland Park.
