Corboy & Demetrio Partner Flip Corboy spoke at the Legal Assistance Foundation of Metropolitan Chicago’s Annual Luncheon on June 21, 2018. Flip currently serves as a LAF Governing Board Member and is a Past Board President.

LAF assists underprivileged communities in Cook County by providing civil legal services to those in need.  Because there is no constitutional right to counsel in civil courts, many go without the legal resources they need.  LAF works to give those in need necessary legal resources that they would not otherwise have.

At the luncheon, the Hon. Ann Claire Williams received the Champion of Justice Award for her commitment to serving those in poverty. Additionally, Ainat Margalit received the Jerold S. Solovy Equal Justice Award.
