John Hancock Building Scaffolding Wrongful Death Litigation
Corboy & Demetrio was appointed Lead Counsel and represented several victims of the scaffolding collapse of the John Hancock building, including the families of the two young women who were killed in the front seat of their car as their mothers witnessed their gruesome deaths from the back seat. On the eve of trial, 10 victims injured or killed by the scaffolding that fell from the John Hancock building received $75 million in a global settlement for their personal injury and wrongful death claims.
