FDA Warns of Danger of Laparoscopic Morcellators
The FDA is warning hospitals and surgeons against using laparoscopic power morcellators to remove uterine fibroids in most women.
Recent reports, some involving lawsuits, have shown that morcellators can spread as yet undiagnosed cancer.
